A boat-shaped bowl in hand-worked pewter with an elongated form tapering to a fine point at each end and raised on a narrow keel-like base. The surface carries a soft, hand-hammered texture stamped and signed by the maker.
Erik Torssell (1909-2000) worked in this reduced, sculptural idiom typical of Swedish pewter design at mid-century, where the material's malleability is left visible in the finished form rather than polished away.
