Elegant and refined, a table lamp entirely sheathed in black leather attributed to the French Modernist designer, Jacques Adnet (1900-1984).

Jacques Adnet was an icon of French Art Deco Modernism, Inspired by pre-classicism  but always with a modernist twist. His innovative designs in metal, glass and leather were recognised for their modernism and he was hugely influential in expressing new interior trends of his time.

Updated with new electrics, twisted fabric cord, brass fittings for an E27 lightbulb and new EU plug and switch. Available with a conical lampshade handmade in Sweden with a Italian pale blue linen from Astrid Textiles, Stockholm.

French, Leather, 1950s.  Good condition.  Small dents, marks and scratches in leather.

H 52cm (incl. lampshade). Lampshade diameter 40cm.

It is recommend to use only LED light bulbs with this shade.
