"These glass pieces began as an attempt to work with a material and process that challenged the illusion of control. Free-form glassblowing happens at such speed that intuition becomes more important than planning. You have to trust your instincts and allow your subconscious to guide you. At times, it feels closer to an action sport than a craft.The works were made together with the team at Sthlm Glas, a workshop outside Stockholm with a uniquely magnetic energy.

The podiums are custom-made and form an integral part of the works. One is constructed from MDF and stainless steel, and two are made of glass. Inspired by architecture, I think of them as expressions of engineering and construction—while the glass appears almost as crystallised intuition, something deeply human resting above".
