A flower vase in white enamelled perforated metal with an internal glass insert, produced by Bieffeplast as a reissue of one of Hoffmann's most iconic early designs. The cylindrical form rises from a hexagonal base, its surface articulated by a regular grid of small square openings, the Gitterwerk that became a hallmark of Vienna Secessionist design. Vertical, architectural, and unmistakably Hoffmann.

Josef Hoffmann (1870--1956) was co-founder of the Vienna Secession and the Wiener Werkstätte. Bieffeplast acquired the rights to reproduce his work in the 1970s; these reissues are now collectible in their own right.
