Barbier Double Box Lamp 1970s

An exceptional chrome over brass double box table lamp by the furniture and light designer, Philippe Barbier. Barbier worked in Paris during the 1960s and 1970s designing and producing lighting for French film sets under the name 'Maison Barbier'. He was known for his polished chrome pieces in an array of sculptural shapes.

French, Chrome, 1970s. Age related marks in chrome. Available with pointy lampshade handmade in Sweden with 'Tiger Silk' by Dedar Milano.

Updated with new electrics, twisted fabric cord, brass fittings for an E27 lightbulb and new EU plug and switch. I t is recommend to use LED light bulbs with this shade.
