A beautifully aged antique Kashigata mould traditionally used to make confectionary such as the Higashi small sweet cakes for tea ceremonies or shrine offerings. The 3 ginko leaf design has been skill-fully hand carved in wood and is one of a kind. A fading craft, Kashigata is a 300 year old tradition making these moulds small works of art.
Two brass hooks have been added making it possible to hang on the wall.
