Christofle Apple Lino Sabattini

A modernist apple jar designed by Lino Sabattini for Christofle. Christofle is one of the worlds finest silver makers founded in 1830 in Paris by Charles Christofle.

Lino Sabattini (1925–2016) was an Italian designer best known for his silver and metalware. Mentored by Gio Ponti, Sabattini blended a neo-classical style with a modernist and minimalist aesthetic.  His refined designs of everyday objects in silver and metals are highly collectible objects.
