Introducing the 'Bisbi' wall sconces with their genius 360° degree function designed by Achille Castiglioni and manufactured by Flos in 1987. The perfect bedside lights and no longer in production making these a rare pair.

Achille Castiglioni (1918-2002) completed his studies at Politecnico di Milano in 1944 and immediately started a design practice with his brothers, Livio (1911-1979) and Pier Giacomo (1913-1968).  Together they designed objects for an array of brands, such as Kartell, Zanotta, Flos, Bernini, Siemens, Knoll, Poggi, Lancia, Alessi, Ideal Standard and Arflex. The Castiglioni brothers were renowned for their lighting design, most famously the Arco lamp that is still in production today.  An all round designer, Achille was involved in many projects including urban planning, architecture, exhibitions and product design.  He is the only Italian architect and designer whom the MoMa, New York has dedicated a retrospective.
