Still Life, Dominius 1947

A serene still life by Martha Dominius (1920-2010) who has been described as a shy and delicate Swedish talent with a lightness of stroke even when painting in oil. She studied at Valand's painting school, Gothenburg, Sweden 1942-47.

A wonderfully quiet abstract depiction of fruit on a table setting. Oil on canvas, signed and dated.  Framed in a untreated oak at Bergewall Ramar, Stockholm.
