Abstract Composition Hans Osswald

A vibrant abstract composition by the Swedish artist Hans Osswald (1919-1983) entitled 'Vid Stranden' / 'By the Beach'. Painted in mixed media with Osswald's signature swooping broad brushstrokes. A great depth and texture build using an intense colour palette of white, grey, black, yellow and blue.

Hans Osswald's work is represented at the National Museum of Stockholm, Malmö Museum, Eskilstuna Museum, Gävle Museum and The Brooklyn Museum, New York.
