Entitled 'Blickpunkt' 1968, a plaster model for a public monument now standing in Västerås, Sweden.

The model is in 2 pieces as a proposal for 2 different heights of the monument. The tallest option was commissioned.

Many of Teddy Sempinski's commissioned public pieces were worked in cement and chamotte ceramics. Brutalist and cubist in form.

A Polish Swedish painter, illustrator and graphic artist. Tadeusz-Marya Sempinski aka Teddy Sempinski (1927-1998) came to Sweden in 1947 and studied at Academy of Fine Arts in Stockholm in 1950.
His studies were interrupted by illness but he continued to self study throughout his life.
He has been commissioned for many public works around Västerås.
His work is also represented in the Moderna Museet collection in Stockholm.
